AGADIR

ROYAL GOLF CLUB
9 Holes
Par: 36-2,934 m

In 1951, a Scottish golf enthusiast, named Wilson, dug a hole in what was then only a field. A few years later, another enthusiast but more consistent golf player named Colonel Major Kamili, continued the work and designed what constitutes today the Royal Golf of Agadir. The fairways are outlined along the 9 holes, and perfumed by pines, eucalyptus and mimosa, subtle fragrances that blend with the tang of the nearby ocean.Open all year around under its eternal blue sky, the Royal Golf of Agadir is a legend.

The Royal Golf Club (09 holes, soon to be extended to 18) is located 8 Miles from downtown Agadir on the way to Ait Melloul. The greens are broad and well defended by deep bunkers and groups of palm trees that close off the angles. The extension to 18 holes is nearly finished. After the game, players can meet and discuss their rounds in the panoramic view of the clubhouse.

Robinson, who in 1991, designed this winding soil, sprinkled with water points, a course, suitable for golf practice at all levels.

THE "SOLEIL" GOLF CLUB
36 Holes
Par: 72-6,100 m

In 1999, Muela and Courbin lovers of the Moroccan Atlantic coast, designed the Golf Soleil in Agadir. In an atmosphere which marries the prestige of golf to the dazzling nature of tamarind trees, mimosa, eucalyptus and bougainvilleas, creating a play of shelter and light in the spacious pathways, the "Soleil" Golf generously welcomes passionate golf players, around the year.

Golf Du Soleil (27 holes) This new golf course, a superb 5-star one, with 27 holes, 8,955m and par 72, is spread over 85 hectares, all lined with eucalyptus, tamaris, mimosas and palm trees. Three superb lakes covering 3,65 hectares include 6 holes with a water hurdle. Fernando Muell, fascinated by the Moroccan Atlantic coast gave full rein to his imagination when shaping this exceptional piece of art with its gently undulating fairways and the treacherously sloping greens.
