Draa Valley

The Draa Valley is Morocco’s long oasis corridor along the Draa River, known for palm groves, kasbahs, and desert scenery between Agdz, Zagora, and M’Hamid. It’s also one of the country’s classic southern routes into the Sahara.

The valley is popular for scenic drives, oasis landscapes, and cultural stops such as Tamegroute, Zagora, and smaller Berber villages. It’s also known for date production and for the contrast between green palm groves and surrounding desert terrain.
