Brahim Jounh, the head of the company, was fully aware of my situation. He made a special point to not only arrange a great itinerary, but also book me in superb accommodations- combining modern hotels with amazing Moroccan dars & riads. I also experienced “glamping” in the desert— it’s awesome!!I had a thorough 1 1/2 week itinerary, traveling from Casablanca to Rabat, Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Moulay Idris/Meknes, Fes, Ifrane, Ziz Valley, Merzouga/Sahara desert, Todra/Dades Gorges, Ouzarzate/Ait Ben Haddou, Marrakech, Essaouira, and back to Casablanca. This comprehensive itinerary was complemented by my driver/guide Hiba. His insights, expertise, and overall knowledge were amazing assets. I even had the privilege of meeting his family when we passed through Ouzarzate- they demonstrated true Moroccan hospitality!Thanks to this amazing trip, I saw Morocco’s amazing cultural & geographic diversity. My husband and I booked a 2 week trip to Morocco through this tour company, and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to travel there. I don't think we would have had nearly as good of a time in Morocco if we attempted to travel on our own. We had a private driver who provided all our transportation (an absolute life-saver - driving in Morocco is sort of a nightmare) and coordinated our excursions for us. He was instrumental in making sure everything went smoothly. The tours and excursions that were booked for us provided us in-depth immersion into Moroccan culture - we will never forget hiking in the Todra and Dades gorges, taking a sunrise hot air balloon ride over Marrakech, or getting to feed macaques on our way from Fes to the Sahara. This company took care of all the logistics of creating an itinerary, hotel bookings, tour reservations, etc, but still allowed us enough free time to explore on our own, and we even added on a few extra excursions when time permitted. We felt very safe with our driver and at all the hotels we stayed at. Overall we had a great experience with Gateway2Morocco and I would encourage anyone looking to travel to Morocco to book through them.
