A little history
Volubilis was a major Roman provincial city, flourishing from the 1st to 3rd centuries AD as a capital of Mauretania Tingitana and a centre of olive oil production. Excavated over the past century, it is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Volubilis reveals the deep antiquity of Morocco, layering Berber, Roman, and early Islamic history. Its triumphal arch and mosaics are among North Africa's finest Roman remains.
