A large five-star resort in Hivernage, the garden district just outside the Marrakech medina walls. Some 500 rooms sit in about five hectares of gardens with three pools (two heated in winter), a children’s pool and kids’ club, a spa and several restaurants.

It is a practical, family-friendly base: a short taxi ride to Jemaa el-Fna and the souks, with space and quiet to come back to. The hotel adjoins the Palais des Congrès, Marrakech’s main conference centre.
