El Fenn

A design-led hotel of 41 rooms and suites made from several old riads joined by five courtyards, near Bab Laksour and a short walk from Jemaa el-Fna. It was restored by Vanessa Branson and is known for its contemporary art collection and colour-saturated rooms.

Four pools — including a 13-metre pool on the roof — and one of the medina’s most popular rooftops, with views of the Koutoubia and the Atlas. Lively rather than hushed: a hotel for travellers who like atmosphere.
