British Columbia consumer-protection license #80460 — your deposit is held under regulated trust rules, not pooled supplier funds in Morocco.
We own the ground product. Our Casablanca office vets every riad, driver, and guide — no middle layer, no language barrier when something needs fixing.

Casablanca → Rabat → Chefchaouen → Fes → Sahara → Marrakech. Our best-selling itinerary for first-time American visitors.
Imperial cities + desert + Atlas Mountains, condensed for travellers with tighter vacation windows.
A focused loop covering Fes, the Sahara dunes, and Marrakech — perfect for one vacation week plus weekends.
Add Essaouira's Atlantic coast to the classic imperial-cities-and-desert loop for a slower, more varied journey.
Two of Morocco's most spectacular cities, paired with the Sahara and Atlas — slower pace, deeper cultural immersion.
North to south, coast to Sahara — our most complete experience for travellers with two-plus weeks.
A faster-paced highlight reel for travellers short on time — Fes, Sahara, Marrakech in one tight week.
Marrakech base with an overnight Sahara excursion — ideal if you're combining Morocco with Spain or Portugal.
Gateway2Morocco is registered with British Columbia's Business Practices and Consumer Protection Authority — the same regulatory framework that protects U.S. travellers booking through Virtuoso, Travel Leaders, or other North American agencies. Most Morocco-direct operators are not registered with any North American regulator.
Client funds are held under regulated trust requirements — not co-mingled with operating accounts or pooled supplier funds.
If something goes wrong, you have a North American regulator to escalate to — not just a small-claims court in Casablanca.
BPCPA-registered agencies are recognized merchants, so your Amex / Visa / Mastercard chargeback protections apply normally.
Cancellation policy, payment schedule and inclusions in clear English — not translated supplier contracts that lose meaning in transit.
Morocco runs ~4–5 hours ahead of U.S. Eastern time. Spring and fall are peak — book 4–6 months ahead. Summer is hot inland but excellent on the Atlantic coast. Winter is mild in the south and stunning for desert nights under the stars.
Peak season — perfect temperatures, blooming oases, ideal for Sahara. Book early.
Hot inland (35–40°C). We pivot itineraries to Essaouira coast and Atlas mountains.
Best season for first-timers — warm days, cool nights, harvest in the Atlas valleys.
Mild south, snow-capped Atlas. Magical desert nights. Christmas/New Year books out fast.
We're not a re-seller. We're a North-American-licensed agency with an in-country Moroccan operation — designed for the way Americans actually plan and travel.
Our founder grew up in Morocco and has operated U.S. trips for 15+ years. Every itinerary reflects insider local knowledge, not Google-trip-planner clichés.
You see and pay in U.S. dollars. No exchange-rate guessing games, no foreign transaction fees on properly issued USD invoices.
Every driver and guide is fluent in English (and culturally fluent with Americans). No mid-trip language frustration.
Trip support runs on Morocco time. If your hotel mixes up your room at 11 pm, our local team handles it before you finish unpacking.
Pay by U.S. credit card, ACH, wire, Zelle or PayPal. Deposit + balance schedule with no nasty surprise fees on the balance.
Send us your dates and interests. We respond within 48 hours with a real itinerary, a real price, and zero high-pressure sales calls.
No. U.S. passport holders can enter Morocco visa-free for stays up to 90 days for tourism. Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your date of entry, and you'll need at least one blank page for the entry stamp. We send a pre-trip prep PDF that walks you through everything Customs may ask.
Yes — Royal Air Maroc operates nonstop service from New York JFK and Washington Dulles (IAD) to Casablanca (CMN) year-round. Flight time is approximately 7.5 hours. From most other U.S. cities, you'll connect once — typically via Madrid (Iberia), Lisbon (TAP), Paris (Air France), London (British Airways), or Frankfurt (Lufthansa). We can structure your itinerary around whichever routing makes sense for your home airport.
Our private tours start at $2,120 USD per person (5-day Marrakech & Sahara) and go up to $3,710 USD per person (15-day Grand Morocco) for two people travelling together in 4-star accommodation. Pricing covers private vehicle with English-speaking driver, all hotels, daily breakfast, and several included meals — but excludes your international flights. Quotes are issued in U.S. dollars.
Yes — Morocco is one of the safest destinations in North Africa and the broader region for U.S. travellers. The U.S. State Department currently lists Morocco at Level 2: Exercise Increased Caution, which is the same advisory level as France, Germany, the U.K. and Italy. Our private itineraries add a layer beyond solo travel: dedicated English-speaking driver, vetted accommodation, 24/7 in-country support, and curated routes that avoid the very small handful of areas the State Department flags.
You can pay by U.S. credit card (Amex, Visa, Mastercard), ACH bank transfer, international wire, Zelle, or PayPal. Invoicing is in USD, so your credit-card statement won't show foreign transaction fees. Standard payment schedule is 30% deposit at confirmation, balance due 45 days before arrival. Larger or last-minute bookings can be structured differently — just ask.
Morocco runs on GMT+1 year-round. That's typically 4 hours ahead of U.S. Eastern time, 5 ahead of Central, 6 ahead of Mountain, and 7 ahead of Pacific. Most American travellers find the jet lag from the East Coast manageable — similar to flying to Western Europe. We build a relaxed Day 1 (or a half-day Casablanca walk) into most itineraries to let you reset.
Yes — multi-gen American families are one of our most common bookings. We use mid-size or large private vehicles (Mercedes Vito or Sprinter equivalents), select accommodation with family suites or connecting rooms, build in slower pacing and rest days, and offer kid-friendly cooking classes, cooking workshops, camel rides in the dunes, and Atlas village visits that work for all ages. Tell us the ages and mobility levels of everyone travelling, and we'll design accordingly.
For peak season travel (April–May and September–October), we recommend booking 4–6 months ahead — the best riads in Fes and Marrakech sell out fast in those windows. For Christmas/New Year, book 8–10 months out. For shoulder seasons (Feb–March, Nov, summer Atlantic coast), 8–12 weeks is usually enough lead time. If you're planning closer to departure, we can almost always still build something excellent — just call us.
Yes. Morocco is naturally halal-friendly across the board. We routinely arrange vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and kosher meals. For strict kosher, we work with specific Casablanca and Marrakech kosher caterers and restaurants. Just tell us your dietary requirements at the proposal stage and we'll structure restaurant and riad selections around them.
We strongly recommend U.S. travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical evacuation, and lost baggage. We don't sell insurance directly (so we have no incentive to push any one product), but we can point you toward U.S.-based providers our clients have had good experiences with, including Allianz, Travel Guard, and World Nomads. Many Amex Platinum and Chase Sapphire Reserve cards include strong baseline trip protection — worth checking before you buy a standalone policy.
Send us your dates, your group size, and what you'd like to see. We'll respond within 48 hours with a custom itinerary, real USD pricing, and zero high-pressure sales calls.
