YVR has no nonstop service to Morocco — your fastest path is one-stop via Europe or transcontinental via Montréal. Total travel time is typically 17–20 hours including layover.
- Via London (LHR): Air Canada or British Airways YVR → LHR, then BA to Casablanca/Marrakech — around 17 hours total, best business-class option
- Via Frankfurt (FRA): Lufthansa direct YVR → FRA, then Lufthansa or Royal Air Maroc to Casablanca — approximately 18 hours total
- Via Amsterdam (AMS): KLM YVR → AMS, then KLM AMS → Casablanca — approximately 18 hours total

YVR's main international terminal handles all Europe-bound carriers. Arrive 3 hours before international departure. Canada Line SkyTrain from downtown (25 min) avoids the bridge traffic.

Booking with a BC-licensed agency puts your trip under BC's travel rules, including access to the Travel Assurance Fund, which Consumer Protection BC describes as a possible source of compensation if paid-for travel services aren't delivered. Booking direct with a foreign supplier gives you none of that.

Morocco is 9 hours ahead of PT in winter, 8 in summer. Day 1 is paced as a slow arrival/recovery day. Jet lag from BC is real — we never schedule heavy guided touring on the day you land.

Can I meet with you in person before booking?＋
Yes — in-person consultations available in Metro Vancouver by appointment. Especially common for milestone trips, multi-generational family bookings, or larger groups. Email us with "In-Person Vancouver Consultation" in the subject line.
How long is the flight from Vancouver to Morocco?＋
Typically 17–20 hours total including one stop. The fastest routings are via London (BA), Frankfurt (Lufthansa), Amsterdam (KLM), or Paris (Air France). Via Montreal on Royal Air Maroc YUL nonstop is also competitive and avoids European customs.
Do BC residents have anything specific to know?＋
You're booking with an agency licensed by Consumer Protection BC (licence #80460), so BC's travel rules, including the Travel Assurance Fund, apply to your booking. MSP does not cover medical emergencies abroad — private travel insurance is strongly recommended. We can recommend BC-based providers such as Pacific Blue Cross and BCAA when you book.
What's the time difference between Vancouver and Morocco?＋
Morocco is 9 hours ahead of Pacific Time in winter and 8 hours ahead in summer. Morocco doesn't observe DST the same way Canada does, so the gap shifts by an hour at certain times of year. Day 1 is paced as a slow arrival/recovery day.
Can you accommodate west-coast preferences (vegan, gluten-free, organic riads)?＋
Yes. Vegetarian and vegan are easy to accommodate at every meal. Gluten-free is no problem. Organic and farm-to-table riads are an emerging category in Morocco — we can arrange these specifically, especially around Marrakech and the Atlas.
