Morocco Tours from Montreal — YUL Nonstop on Royal Air Maroc, BPCPA Licensed

Montreal is the only Canadian city with a nonstop flight to Morocco — Royal Air Maroc YUL–Casablanca, around 7 hours. That makes Montreal-departure travelers our easiest itinerary to plan. Eight private tours from 8 to 14 days, priced in CAD, French-speaking drivers and guides available throughout. Vancouver-headquartered, BPCPA-licensed.

Montreal travelers have an advantage no other Canadian city offers: Royal Air Maroc's YUL–Casablanca nonstop, around 7 hours each way, year-round. This means a 9-day Morocco tour costs you only 11 days door-to-door (instead of 13). It also means our Montreal-departure clients can build itineraries that competitors based outside Canada literally can't match. Add French-language driver/guide service on request — most of our Moroccan team is fluent in French — and Montreal-Morocco becomes one of the smoothest international trips you can book from Canada.

The Royal Air Maroc YUL Advantage

The YUL–Casablanca nonstop is operated by Royal Air Maroc on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Westbound service is typically late evening; eastbound service typically afternoon. Schedule:

  • Frequency: 4–6 weekly rotations year-round (varies seasonally — peak summer adds frequency)
  • Flight time: ~7h 15m eastbound, ~8h westbound (winds)
  • Time arrived in Casablanca: typically 8–10am local — perfect for starting your tour same-day
  • Onboard: Standard transatlantic 787 economy/business; meal service in French and English; halal meal default

We don't book your flights, but we plan your day 1 around the typical YUL arrival window so you have time to settle into your Casablanca riad before heading off the next morning.

Service in French

Our drivers and licensed guides are typically fluent in Arabic, Berber, French, and English. French-language service is available on request at no surcharge — particularly useful if you prefer to converse with your driver in your strongest language during long drive days, or if older family members in your group are more comfortable in French than English.

Our Vancouver office handles planning in English by default, but founder Brahim is fluent in French if you'd prefer to plan in French — just request it at the start of your proposal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a nonstop flight from Montreal to Morocco?

Yes — Royal Air Maroc operates YUL–Casablanca nonstop year-round, 4–6 weekly rotations on a Boeing 787. Around 7h15m eastbound, 8h westbound. The only nonstop Canadian-Moroccan flight.

Can my Morocco tour be conducted in French?

Yes. Our drivers and licensed guides are typically fluent in French (and Arabic, Berber, English). French-language service is available on request at no surcharge — especially useful for older family members or for a more comfortable rapport with your driver.

How much does a Morocco tour cost from Montreal in CAD?

From CA$2,925 per person for the 8-day Erg Chigaga desert expedition. Most 9–11 day tours run CA$3,295–CA$4,025. The 13–14 day grand tours run CA$4,755–CA$5,120. Includes private driver, guides, all entrance fees, daily breakfast, and Moroccan airport transfers.

Do Quebec residents need anything special for Morocco?

Standard Canadian passport requirements — valid 6+ months from entry, no visa required for stays under 90 days. RAMQ does not cover international medical care; private travel insurance strongly recommended (Blue Cross Quebec, Industrial Alliance, RBC, TuGo).

What's the best time of year for Quebecois travelers?

Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) are universal sweet spots. December–February is excellent for escaping the Quebec winter — Marrakech sits at 18–22°C in January, Sahara is sunny by day. Avoid June–August unless you're sticking to the Atlantic coast.

Do you offer kosher Morocco tours from Montreal?

Yes. Montreal has Canada's largest Jewish community and roughly 20% of our Quebec-departure bookings include some heritage element. We work with kosher-certified providers in Casablanca and Marrakech for clients on our Jewish Heritage Tour. See dedicated Jewish heritage page for full itinerary.
