Arrival in Marrakech

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Marrakech-Menara Airport, you'll be met by your private driver and transferred to your riad in the heart of the Red City. The rest of the day is free to settle in, relax by the pool, or take a first wander through the nearby souks before dinner.

Marrakech Guided City Tour

A full day exploring Marrakech with your private guide. Visit the Bahia Palace with its intricate courtyards, admire the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, and dive into the sensory whirlwind of Djemaa el-Fna square and the surrounding souks — perfect for the teens to hunt for spices, lanterns, and leather goods. Dinner is at leisure in the medina.

Atlas Mountains & Ourika Valley Excursion

Head out of the city into the High Atlas Mountains for a day trip to the Ourika Valley. Wind through Berber villages clinging to the hillside, walk to waterfalls, and enjoy the cooler mountain air and river-carved landscape — a great active day for the whole family. Return to Marrakech in the evening for your final night in the Red City.

Marrakech to Dades Gorge via Ouarzazate

Depart Marrakech and climb over the dramatic Tichka Pass before descending to Ouarzazate, Morocco's "Hollywood of Africa" and gateway to the kasbahs. Continue east into the Dades Gorge, where towering red rock walls and switchback roads make for a spectacular late-afternoon arrival. Overnight at a kasbah-style hotel with gorge views.

Todra Gorge to Merzouga — Camel Trek & Desert Camp

This morning, visit the towering rock walls of the Todra Gorge, one of Morocco's most spectacular canyons, before continuing across the desert plains to Merzouga. In the late afternoon, mount your camels for a trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes, arriving at your desert camp in time for sunset. After dinner under a canopy of stars, settle in for a night of desert stargazing — some of the darkest, clearest skies in Morocco.

Merzouga to Fes

An optional sunrise over the dunes before breakfast, then a long and scenic drive north — through the Ziz Valley's palm groves, the town of Midelt, and the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas — to the imperial city of Fes. Check in to your riad in the evening.

Fes Guided Exploration

A full day with your private guide unraveling the world's largest car-free urban medina. Explore the Bou Inania and Al Attarine Madrasas, wander the ancient tanneries with their vivid dye pits, and get lost (safely!) in the maze of artisan souks — coppersmiths, weavers, and ceramicists at work.

Fes to Chefchaouen via Volubilis

Depart Fes and drive to the Volubilis archaeological site, the best-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco, with remarkably intact mosaics. Continue north into the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, the famous "Blue City." Spend the evening strolling the cascading blue-washed lanes of the old medina.

Chefchaouen to Tangier via the Rif Mountains

A relaxed morning to enjoy Chefchaouen's blue streets and cafés before your private driver takes you north through the Rif Mountains to Tangier, where Africa meets Europe at the Strait of Gibraltar. Check in and enjoy an evening at leisure ahead of tomorrow's solar eclipse.

Total Solar Eclipse Day & Tangier Exploration

The day you've been planning for: on August 2, 2027, Tangier lies within the path of totality for a total solar eclipse. Your private guide will take you to a well-positioned viewing spot with eclipse glasses provided for the whole family. Afterwards, explore Tangier's Kasbah, the American Legation Museum, and the medina overlooking the Strait of Gibraltar.

Departure from Tangier

After breakfast, your private driver transfers you to Tangier Ibn Battouta Airport for your onward flight home, bringing your Moroccan eclipse adventure to a close.

Any stop stretches — nights re-balance around what you love most, and the drives re-plan themselves.
